In the Gospel of Mathew, we’re told that Jesus tells his disciples to “go into the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” Since the 1800’s, The Brethren Church has been doing just that. Through international relief efforts, as well as starting and sustaining churches worldwide, Brethren churches and people span the globe. We call our missional partners outside of the United States and Canada “Global Partners.”
Argentina & Paraguay
Argentina is the oldest active non-U.S. Brethren Mission site in the world. The church in Argentina is experiencing great growth, but with growth often comes growing pains. There are over 30 Brethren Churches across Argentina, many in rural areas. Willy Romanenghi currently leads the pastors' council in the country. Paraguay has only one church at this point, but the church is heavily invested in local and global mission ventures. Juan Carlos Poletti pastors the church in Paraguay and leads a vibrant multi-denominational para-church organization of nearly 500 pastors.
